Search Bar in Windows Explorer
Look for files in the current folder, a different folder or the whole PC.
Start

You get this by:
- The Search button in the toolbar.
- View > Explorer Bar > Search.
- Ctrl+E, as shown alongside the Search menu item.
- Ctrl+F, which isn’t shown but is the more obvious choice.
Search Companion is what the sidebar title calls it. You start at the What do you want to search for? panel.
Bugs
Disorienting keyboard support:
- Keyboard navigation unintuitive.
- Ctrl+A selected files instead of search text.
- Alt+B didn’t operate Back
- Using Back on mouse from results page went to Desktop folder.
