Add or Remove Programs in Windows XP
Windows has this utility for uninstalling programs since Windows 95 and probably earlier. In XP it features:
- icons;
- bold text;
- normal text;
- hyperlinks;
- labels;
- columns;
- command buttons;
- filtering via a checkbox;
- and sorting options via a dropdown list.
This is in a resizeable window with buttons acting as a vertical tab strip with horizontal text direction down the left-hand side.
Easiest way to access this when using the Classic Start menu is:
- Start > Change Program Access and Defaults
- Click Add or Remove Programs in the top left.
