45th Scalextric Club (22nd October 2013)
NASCAR models are supplied and prepared by London Scalextric Club this evening.
It looks like I didn’t take notes during this evening, so I don’t know what happened. Not sure I attended! But as everyone cycles through the same vehicles it’s a meeting I try to attend as it ensures a level playing field.
44th Scalextric Club (15th October 2013)
Grand Touring cars are nearing the pace of Le Mans prototypes at the London Scalextric Club. Fastest laps near the 8.5s mark were achieved in a few races!
We were able to use all 6 lanes thanks to a good turn-out for this popular class. At just 2.5 minutes per race with short changes between races it made for a busy and action-packed evening.
Used the NSR Mosler I bought from Tony the other month. It has air tyres which aren’t legal but I’m allowed since I’m not in the championship.
Red Lane
Drove safe and careful, just a little behind a pair of drivers who had a crash or two each.

Close with Bob but very slow marshall at a corner which wasn’t really being covered. We both crashed too much.

Can-Am prototypes bringing the noise to the London Scalextric Club tonight. All 6 lanes were in use so we ran 2.5 minutes per race.
Used the short Porsche which Steve lends me for this class. Great little machine.

Good start, clean race. Others caught and passed, even a couple who crashed.
